Tim Abell
has directed the real estate development team at Pacific Housing NW since 2002.
He oversees all aspects of the transactions including acquisitions,
feasibility, due diligence and development. Prior to his leadership role at
Pacific Housing NW, Mr. Abell spent six years as the Director of New Business
and Project Manager for Seattle based Harbor Properties. While at Harbor, he
also created the mid-rise division which focused on urban infill projects,
which achieved industry awards and recognition.
Mr. Abell previously served as the
Director of Finance for the Seattle Commons, an urban re-development project in
downtown Seattle.
Mr. Abell is a registered architect and worked in New York City on
projects with I.M. Pei and Michael Graves. He has been accepted as a member of
the American Institute of Architects and has served as President of the Board
of Directors of the Low Income Housing Institute, the most prolific low income
housing developer in the Pacific Northwest.
Mr. Abell has been a guest lecturer at
Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Columbia University and the Urban
Land Institute on the topic of real estate development. He holds a Master's
Degree in real estate development from Columbia University, a degree in
Financial Analysis from New York University, and a bachelor's degree in
Architecture from Montana State University. |
